User Guide for PC Gaming
Initial setup is easy. Set the controller on the floor in front of your chair with the USB plug facing away from you when you are seated. Route the USB cable from the controller to into your computer or Play Station so that it is away from your feet. Plug the cable into one of the USB slots on your game machine. When it is plugged in, the controller will power on and the controller will calibrate the center positions of the foot pads*. Keep your feet off the device so that it calibrates correctly. The vibrators will buzz and the green light will come on to indicate that calibration has completed. At that point, you can place your feet on the controller and start playing!
* Some models have an On/Off switch, so you may have to flip the switch to the on position with the dot not pushed in.

For most people it works best to position the device under your feet so that your legs are straight up from the controller with the arches over the center of the foot pads. This should give you equal leverage over both heel and toe motions.
The Configurator software should be installed on a Windows 7 or Windows 10 PC using the file you can download here. After downloading the file, run it, read and accept in the terms, and and launch the application.
You may encounter the message "Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk." Click on the underlined words 'More Info' . You will then see the Publisher is HoboLoco Inc and a 'Run anyway' button will appear on the bottom of the warning panel. Click on the 'Run anyway' button to install the application. Unfortunately, it takes a number of installations before it is "recognized" by Microsoft.

The Preset Profiles tab contains those profiles that we've created for some of the popular games we've had the chance to play with our device. You can try the profile by clicking the icon with the arrow to load the configuration onto the device. You can customize your own version of any preset profile by clicking the copy button that looks like stacked papers.
The device will remember the last profile you loaded, so it's OK to unplug it or turn off the computer and the same profile will be active the next time you power up. The last profile loaded onto the device will have a checkmark and the light green background.

How to Configure
Custom Profiles tab lists the profiles you have created from scratch using the New Profile Button or by copying a preset or another customized profile. You can use the profile by clicking the icon with the arrow to load the controller with that configuration. You can use the copy button to create and customize your own version of any preset profile.
The Edit Profile Panel is reached by clicking on the pencil symbol for a profile.
This panel provides the ability to specify the actions (keys and/or mouse button clicks) that are sent to the PC or platform when the feet reach a particular state. Each foot-switch combination can have a different set of actions. Generally, the intent is to have the switches in a down position when moving about and using the switches to strafe or take other actions. If you don't need the complexity of the foot switches, checking the Ignore Switches checkbox will cause the switches to be ignored and only one set of actions is active. Changes are not saved unless the Save buttons are clicked.

The Settings Panel is opened from the Edit Profile Panel by clicking on the gear symbol. This panel applies to all combos on the profile.
- Wider deadzone areas provide the user a bit more room to rest in a "flat" position.
- Arc sensitivity adjusts the mouse horizontal movement response - higher sensitivity makes steering more responsive, but it can get harder to go straight.
- Rotation sensitivity increases the speed of horizontal movement when the pedals are at opposite extremes.
- Overdrive is an additional key/button sequence invoked on select combinations when the toes or heels reach an extreme position. A single overdrive key and/or button sequence must be set on the Settings panel. If the overdrive consists of only modifier keys (Left Shift, Right Shift, Left Ctrl, Right Ctrl, Left Alt, Right Alt, Left Win, or Right Win), any buttons pushed prior to the overdrive sequence will be released and then reapplied after. This enables the overdrive to do things like a Left Shift in front of other characters. Otherwise, the sequence is pressed and then released immediately - for example to do a single Space Bar key click.
- Accent lights can be turned off or put into a steady on or rotating.
Currently available preset profiles include the following:
